The longer a creature stays in Grey and the further into its seven circles they venture, the closer they are to death. Eventually, everyone slips up, everyone makes mistakes and everyone dies. There is no other escape.

A sort of ‘what if’ picture of Zero in Grey. What if she’d never met Gene.

Actually, if she’d never met him, she never would have found a way out, never would have escaped, and eventually, ultimately, she would have died. You can only be lucky for so long, after all.

I started this way back in August, shortly before I left on a road trip. When I came back I was sick and it got put on a back burner, and then forgotten about until about a week ago… and I have been working diligently since then

I’m really quite pleased with how it’s turned out, but I’m also open to any critiques, as I rather like improving upon my artwork.

EDIT: i've finally realized what was off with the perspective in this. the building Zero is sitting on doesn't match with the viewpoint of the rest of the buildings.
